A promo image for Jay Z’s upcoming tour in support of his most recent album 4:44 showed Puma’s logo alongside Canadian and American flags and logos for Tidal and Sprint, leading fans to speculate the shoe brand would be involved in the tour in some way. Puma confirmed it will be working with Jay Z, but has not provided further details on its participation in the 4:44 tour.

Puma has also formed a successful partnership with Rihanna, who is signed to Jay Z’s record label Roc Nation. Their Fenty x Puma collaboration was named Shoe of the Year by Footwear News in November of 2016 and has inspired countless knockoffs.

Jay Z has also partnered with other fashion labels recently. In May apparel company Revolve released a collection in honor of the rapper’s career, with unisex pieces specifically inspired by his 1996 album Reasonable Doubt.

Jay Z’s 4:44 Tour will begin in Anaheim in October and end in Los Angeles on December 21. His album 4:44 launched on June 30 exclusively on his streaming platform Tidal.
