In a sign that the UK wedding market is springing back post-pandemic, global bridal brand Pronovias has moved along London’s New Bond Street to a new flagship store.

The new home is at the equally new Hanover Square 33,55 sq ft retail development, owned by the GHS Limited Partnership, including Great Portland Estates.
The Spanish brand has signed a 10-year lease relocating to a 6,000 sq ft, three-storey unit. It will showcase Pronovias’ latest wedding gowns, including Vera Wang Bride, launching globally this month.
Pronovias will join existing retailer Canali within the complex that also includes office space for The London Fashion Academy.
Zrino Aladrovic Pronovias property director said: "Pronovias is excited to be part of such a prestigious development. The superior quality of this retail accommodation will allow [us] to showcase its exquisite collections, including our new line Vera Wang Bride”.
The wedding dress market in the UK has been under pressure in the past 18 months as weddings were either banned or restricted for much of the time. Even when they were allowed to go ahead, the fact that guest numbers were kept low meant the motivation to spend heavily on grand wedding gowns was pretty low.
But as the wedding market bounces back, many couples are making up for lost time and more weddings than ever are expected to take place in the year ahead, with a bigger final bill attached. So it’s a good time for the brand to take its new space.
