Pronovias: André Tejero departs managing director post

Change is in the air at Pronovias. Following the firm's sale to BC Partners earlier in the year, Andrés Tejero will leave his post as managing director of Pronovias - the company specialising in wedding dresses. Tejero took up the role in September 2014. 

The firm confirmed that Tejero would continue to execute his functions as managing director until another candidate is found, which would take place soon. The director's ousting follows the Catalan group's latest company changes. 

This summer, venture capital firm BC Partners reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the company run by Alberto Palatchi, after a close fight against fellow investors KKR, Permira and Bain.

Founded in 1964, the Catalan firm is headquartered in Barcelona. The design team is headed up by Hervé Moreau and its brand portfolio includes Pronovias, St. Patrick and high-end label Atelier Pronovias, among others.

Pronovias is present across the globe with 3,800 independent sales points and 45 namesake stores.
