As the United States midterm elections approach, Proenza Schouler has taken a political stance. In an effort to support the fight against gun violence, the American fashion house has released an exclusive t-shirt, and will donate all net sales proceeds to non-profit company Everytown for Gun Safety.

The PSWL In Support of Everytown t-shirt retails at $90, and is available in both black and white, short-sleeve and long-sleeve. The shirt is decorated with a logo of a gun resembling an AK-47 crossed out with a red line.

"Proenza Schouler is proud to stand in solidarity and support those advocating for gun violence prevention in the United States," the brand said in the shirt's product description on its e-commerce website. "In an effort to raise awareness for those using their voices and the grassroots organizations that are taking action, 100% of net proceeds... will be donated to Everytown."

The American fashion brand has included a download of the t-shirt's graphic design at the bottom of the online product description, and has said it is free for public use.

Everytown for Gun Safety was co-founded by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. On its website, the organization says it is "a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities."

The non-profit's online landing page currently provides resources and tools for users to find the anti-gun violence "gun sense" candidates running for political office in their state.
