Pringle of Scotland invests in the Chinese market

Pringle of Scotland has landed in China. The fashion house, founded in 1815 and famous for cashmere, will kick off its Chinese growth plan with the opening of its first flagship in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan (southwest China) and the new Eldorado of luxury retail in mainland China.

The brand plans to open 15 to 20 own stores in China within three to five years. The strategy will focus on both the company's womens- and menswear and also department stores and select multibrands.
