Primark to anchor The Pavilions, Uxbridge

Irish value retailer Primark is opening a 33,200 sqft. store at shopping centre The Pavilions in Uxbridge.

The new store will anchor the centre and open later this year.
Simon Usher, asset manager at LaSalle Investment Management, which signed Primark, said: “This new Primark anchor store will add significant vibrancy to the Chequers Square area of The Pavilions and complements the existing retail mix. We have relocated seven existing tenants within the scheme retaining the long-standing relationship many of these retailers have with The Pavilions. The investment is reflective of our commitment to Uxbridge and ensuring The Pavilions remains a key shopping destination within the town.”

The shop will have frontage on to both Chequers Square and the High Street. It will occupy the basement, ground and a newly-built first floor of the premises, and sell womenswear, menswear and kidswear as well as footwear and homeware. Primark's new Uxbridge store will create an additional 144 jobs across the region and see Primark join anchors Marks & Spencer, TK Maxx, Wilkinson’s and Tesco.
