Primark confirms opening date for new Westfield London store

Primark has announced that its new 70,000-square-foot store in Westfield London will open its doors to customers on 14 June.

The branch will sit within the shopping centre’s new expansion, which made Westfield London the largest mall in Europe when it opened earlier this year. Several further openings will take place throughout the summer, ahead of Westfield’s 10th anniversary in October.

The new Primark store spreads across two floors and includes special areas for the brand’s womens’, men’s and children’s collections including footwear, accessories as well as lingerie, beauty and homeware. 

The massive store has five customer “recharge” seating areas, free Wi-Fi and 54 fitting rooms. It is being built on Primark’s new shop fit with immersive tech elements including two LED shop-front video windows and an interactive video wall at the entrance. Almost 500 employees have been hired for the new branch.

Primark has also a popular store within Westfield’s East London shopping centre, Westfield Stratford.

Other retail chains at Westfield London’s expansion include John Lewis, River Island, Stradivarius, Mango, Boden, Monsoon, Space NK, Adidas, H&M, The White Company and Charles Tyrwhitt.
