As a finalist on the popular TV show Love Island, Indiyah has also been chosen as the face of PrettyLittleThing’s resale app ‘PLT Marketplace’. And with that, the fast-fashion brand is also launching its first ever vintage collection.

Some 108 pieces hand-picked by Indiyah have now gone on sales exclusively on the Marketplace app.

With demand for resale apps heavily increasing, this will be a first for the brand that claims to have so far gained 209,000 app downloads, with 154,000 listed accounts, and 96,000 garments listed.

The retailer said: “PrettyLittleThing strives to extend the life of garments, breathing new life into pre-loved clothing and helping to reduce waste with the impact of the environment front of mind and focusing on the 3 Rs; re-selling, re-wearing and re-cycling.”

It added: “The aim is to make fashion more diverse, inclusive, and give customers the creative freedom to encourage others to recycle and give their garments longer life in which Indiyah will be helping to support.”

Indiyah’s edit comprises classic oversized band tees, leather jackets in trench and bomber styles, motocross biker jackets and reworked denim. With pieces customised by the celeb, mini dresses have been turned into “playful co-ords perfect for party season, maxi skirts turned to midi’s and baggy sweats turned into oversized crop tops to be worn with leather parachute style trousers”. Size range XS–XXL with prices ranging £10-£100.

Her collection also includes menswear styles such as reworked waistcoats, slogan sportswear, varsity jackets and cargo trousers.

Each piece in the collection was sourced at clothing company Glass Onion Vintage.
