Pretorian, or when Audigier gets into Free Fight

Pretorian is on the offensive as regards combat sports. The Brazilian company founded by Ruy Drever in Sao Paulo is getting a stranglehold on the highly publicized world of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). The combat sports organization (banned in France) pits athletes from different martial arts against one another.

Pretorian’s first store in the USA.

In May, the brand acquired in May the European fight organizer, the WFC, thus gaining direct access to a European audience. And Pretorian’s management seems to be considering development into fashion.

Indeed, they have just created a joint venture with Christian Audigier. The Frenchman, who lives in the United States, will design an urbanwear line for Pretorian, which will be distributed worldwide.

"Christian Audigier has designed an initial collection for men and children, made up of thirty pieces (t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, outerwear, bags, hats) that will be sold worldwide through the website and local distributors. The average selling price is around 50 dollars (37 euros), explains the brand.

Pretorian products will of course be sold in store networks specialized in combat sports, although not exclusively. The brand aims to appeal to a wider audience and thus items will also be available in the shops menswear and child.

The brand already has a store in Los Angeles.
