Porsche Design and Puma strike strategic partnership deal

Porsche Design and Puma have struck a long-term partnership deal, and next February they will launch an extensive product line, featuring apparel, footwear and sport equipment, called Performance Collection.

Porsche Design

Porsche Design is bringing its unique design vision to the collaboration, while Puma will deploy the most advanced cushioning systems, seam-sealing knits, lightweight fabrics and expertise in ergonomics.

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche founded Porsche Design in 1972 as an exclusive line of design objects inspired by the principles and legendary image of Porsche, extending beyond the world of cars. Porsche Design articles are distributed worldwide via over 130 monobrand stores, high-end department stores, specialised retailers and the brand's official e-shop. The Performance Collection will be available for purchase from next February.

“With Puma we’ve found a strong partner, sharing the same values related to technological innovation, design, and top-quality products. We’re very excited to kick-off this partnership and take the Porsche Design Performance Collection to new heights over the following years. This is just the starting point for this line and our partnership,” said Jan Becker, CEO of Porsche Design Group. Porsche Design has previously worked with Puma’s big German rival, Adidas. The partnership emphasises Puma’s involvement in motor racing.

“We are really excited to start working with such a renowned partner like Porsche Design. Their active lifestyle heritage fits perfectly with our ambition to merge sport innovation with lifestyle products. Relying on our experience of many years in motor sport, we will be working with Porsche Design to develop innovative, hi-tech footwear and apparel,” said Bjørn Gulden, CEO of PUMA.
