The e-P summit launched more than a decade ago is returning with a new date, venue, and scientific direction after a two-year, pandemic-induced hiatus. The international forum organized by Pitti Immagine, dedicated to opening a discussion between the fashion industry and the digital world, will be held in Florence as opposed to Milan for the first time. The event will take place at the Stazione Leopolda on May 4 and 5 under the leadership of a new scientific director, Rinaldo Rinaldi, supply chain management professor at the University of Florence.

La Stazione Leopolda to host the e-Pitti Summit in Florence - Pitti Immagine

This 2022 edition, sponsored by four leading tech players (Accenture, Google, Meta and mobile carrier Tim), will stay true to its theme: ‘Shaping the Digital Future of Fashion’, with over 20 meetings over the course of two days, including presentations, panel discussions, and direct dialogue between the fashion and luxury industries with startups.

The event will address today's most stimulating topics, from digital development in the creative and production process to the shift towards a digital and eco-friendly environment, as well as the use of artificial intelligence, data and the cloud to analyze consumer behavior. Not to mention social media strategies, the integration between e-commerce and traditional distribution, and opportunities of blockchain technology, NFTs, and the metaverse.

The summit will bring together a number of executives and managers from fashion groups such as Max Mara, Pinko, Loro Piana, La Rinascente, Calzedonia.

That's in addition to leading tech companies, such as 3rand Up Solutions, Assyst, Besight, Crea Solutions, Dyna Brains, Hyphen - Group, Joor, Lectra, Logic & DV-5, Ot Consulting, Prisma Tech, Protocube Reply, Remira, S3k, Sedapta, Sopra Steria, Tesisquare, Vistex, Würth Phoenix, K3 and Zakeke.
