The 'Salon du Vintage' (Vintage show) will once again take over the Carreau du Temple venue in Paris for its 20th edition, scheduled on the week-end of 15th and 16th October. This year Laurent Journo, the event's founder, will dedicate a retrospective to 1980s fashion designers, having celebrated the creations of the 1960s and 1970s in the previous edition.

Items by Thierry Mugler, Claude Montana, Jean Paul Gaultier and Azzedine Alaïa, lent by collectors or by the labels themselves, will be exhibited at the event.

Emmanuelle Khanh, the renowned stylist who launched the eponymous brand in the 1970s, will offer for sale her personal collection of prototypes, original pieces and catwalk models.

The show will also feature the customary exhibitors presenting vintage clothing, accessories and furniture pieces. Once again this year, there will 150 of them showcasing their wares.
