Pandora opens new concept store at Braehead Centre

Jewellery retail giant Pandora has upsized its store at the Braehead Centre, Renfrew, on the outskirts of Glasgow.

Situated in a prime location on the upper level of the centre, the new 1,635 sq ft store is designed “to be more intuitive to the customer journey… allowing shoppers to browse and interact with products more easily.”

It also becomes one of just a few Pandora stores to offer engraving services, allowing visitors to personalise jewellery.

The store also stocks Diamonds by Pandora, its lab-created collection made with 100% recycled silver and gold. This sits alongside other popular lines including charms that can be personalised and bracelets from Pandora Moments, classic pieces from its Timeless collection and its trend-driven Pandora ME pieces.

Braehead, owned by property company SGS and asset-managed by Global Mutual in conjunction with Savills, said the bigger Pandora follows a host of other expansions and openings at the centre over the last few months, including Sports Direct, Gap and Superdrug, joining M&S, Primark and Next as key anchor brands.

Andrew Milner-Walker, Property Director at Pandora UK & Ireland, said: “Our new space is designed to offer a unique and personalised shopping experience, showcasing the best of Pandora’s extensive range from classic charms and bracelets, to new collection styles.”

Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, added that the firm’s “decision to open a new store reflects the continued appeal of physical retail and experience-first shopping.”
