Pamela Anderson stars in new Missguided campaign
A lot of the customers who shop at Missguided, the young British etailer, might not even have been born when Pamela Anderson made her debut in the Baywatch TV show in 1992.
That hasn't stopped the company from choosing the iconic actress as its latest "Babe of Missguided." Anderson poses in a number of Missguided outfits for the campaign, including a red bathing suit that looks a lot like her Baywatch one.
When asked what she loves about Missguided, Anderson revealed: "I love Missguided as vegan, that’s number one. I have to laugh at the name of the brand; it makes me feel a bit silly." Her outfits for the campaign are full-on glamour - one is a floor-length gold dress with cut-outs - and the ads were shot by Swedish photographer Arvida Byström and styled by creative director Soki Mak. The duo's hyper feminine, pastel-hued style suits Missguided's clothes well, and the 48-year old Anderson brings her 90s cool to the outfits.
Anderson has previously posed for both Love Advent, CR Fashion Book and the cover of Ponystep Magazine (for which she was also styled by Soki Mak). Her son Dylan Lee stars in a recent Saint Laurent campaign; proof that Anderson's fashion credentials have been passed on.
