Organic skin care market expected to reach $12.58 billion by 2022

According to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc., the global organic skin care market is expected to reach 12.58 USD billion by 2022. In 2014, it was valued at 3,004.0 USD million.

Bare Escentuals

The findings suggest that e-commerce is one of the main factors promoting market growth on account of its large product offering. This trend as well as changing consumer perceptions towards organic products and a rising consumer disposable income are expected to fuel product demand over the next seven years.

According to the report, North America was the largest organic skin care segment, accounting for over 30 percent of global revenue in 2014. The North American market was followed by Europe and Asia Pacific.

Other key findings from the report suggest organic face creams were the largest product segment, valued at USD 1,900 million in 2014, while Body lotions was the second largest product segment.

Bare Escentuals is one of the largest organic skin care products manufacturers globally. The report also looked at the competitive landscape of other producers such as Natura Cosméticos S.A., Burt’s Bee, Kiehl’s, The Body Shop, Estee Lauder, Yves Rocher Amway, Arbonne International, The Hain Celestial Group, , Aveda Corp., and L'Occitane en Provence.
