Off-White enters the beauty category with 'Paperwork'

Fashion brand Off-White officially entered the beauty category on Wednesday with a new genderless range dubbed 'Paperwork'.

The first beauty collection from Off-White “represents a new dimension of beauty as a genderless, inclusive art form at the intersection of humanity and individuality,” the brand said in a statement on Instagram

The line launches with the Paperwork fragrance collection, called 'Solutions'. Crafted by the late Virgil Abloh in collaboration with celebrated perfumers Alexis Dadier, Jerome Epinette, and Sidonie Lancesseur, the fragrance line features four scents, taking inspiration from '90s nostalgia, bougie classics and natural earth elements.

Solution No. 1 is described as an everyday fragrance featuring notes of Ho Wood, Sand Accord and Patchouli, symbolic of different cultures and seashores around the world. Likewise, Solution No. 2 is described as an energizing and surprising scent that pairs the freshness of Tangerine Leaves and Orange Blossom with the woodiness of Vetiver and Cedarwood. 

Finally, Solution No.3 is a modern romantic, seductive fragrance that gives prominence to rose absolute from Grasse, while Solution No.4 combines freshness with warm woodiness and is based on Epinette’s sense of nature. All fragrances are packaged in an industrial glass with a grip control knob. 

Next month, the range will expand into make-up with the launch of six face and body pigment crayons, alongside stencils, and six nail polishes. 

Paperwork was created by Abloh before his passing and made its debut on the runway as part of the brand's Fall 2022 show back in February. 

The collection is available at Off---White.com and Farfetch, which also officially made its foray into beauty on Wednesday, following the acquisition of luxury beauty retailer, Violet Grey earlier this year.  

Together with Violet Grey, Browns and Off-White, Farfetch.com will provide a curated edit of the best luxury beauty products to serve customers across ages, races, cultures, and genders.
