In 1984, Oakley launched its first model of performance sunglasses called “Eyeshades”. Now, the brand is celebrating 30 years of technical design with its Heritage collection. “This new collection is both a homage to our emblematic models and to the history of Oakley,” explains Colin Baden, Oakley’s CEO.

The Heritage collection includes reissues of the brand’s flagship models of sunglasses - like Eyeshades, offered in a very limited edition coming with both straight and curved earstems - and also revisits several contemporary models from the Sport Performance category, now tricked out in retro colors.

For the special collection, “30” is laser printed in the corner of each model’s lenses, and the top edge of each frame displays a printed stripe that carries the colors of Oakley’s original models. The collection is available in optical stores (Luxottica’s retail network), in specialized stores (sportswear networks) as well as on Oakley’s web site.
