The '70s are back in a big way with Nyx Professional Makeup's disco-inspired Christmas collection. Naturally, glitter will take part in the celebrations, along with metallic, bold colors. The "Love Lust Disco" collection will be rolling out through November.

A mainstay of any party, especially those taking place around the Holidays, glitter will once more shine bright in many of the biggest names in cosmetics' end-of-year collections. This will definitely be the case at Nyx Professional Makeup, which is taking us back to the '70s with a glittering eye directly inspired from the disco-era.

The brand has created a number of eye essentials such as three eyeshadow palettes featuring 10 shimmering or matte shades in cool colors, nuances of pink, and hues that revolve around gold. The look can be completed with a number of metallic liquid eyeliners, as well as the iconic Epic Ink Liner.

And because one wouldn't dream of attending a party without a flawless, glowing complexion, Nyx has created two palettes especially for the event-heavy period of the year: "Love Lust Disco Cheek Palette" will perk up cheekbones, and a second will give complexions a natural glow with a number of shades and textures.

While a number of brands opt to keep the lips more subdued when the eyes are taking center-stage, Nyx opted to give lips glossy finishes, with the "Love Lust Disco" lipstick and the "Suede Matte" lip kits, which both offer a number of shades.

The festive "Love Lust Disco" collection is completed by a selection of multi-use products, such as the creamy "Foil Play" pigment palette, the "Shimmer Down" body oil, and an illuminating body powder puff.

The disco theme extends to all of Nyx's Christmas presents and boxed sets, as well as its two Advent calendars (12 or 24 days). The limited-edition collection will be available in-store and online.
