Norton Clothing, the motorbike-inspired menswear brand, is keen to expand in Spain and has joined forces with El Corte Inglés, the country’s leading department store chain. On November 1, Norton Clothing will open its first retail corner at El Corte Inglés, in one of the department store’s branches in Valencia.

The 40-square-metre retail space will showcase the menswear label’s bomber jackets, t-shirts and accessories. Norton Clothing, which is licensed to the Pepe Jeans group, plans to open more corners at El Corte Inglés branches in Zaragoza, Madrid and Bilbao in the first half of next year.

Norton Clothing was created as an apparel brand in 2015, and so far, it only operates one monobrand store in Spain, in Barcelona. The 100-square-metre store opened just over two years ago, and is located in calle de la Ribera. Norton also sells online in Spain, as well as being distributed via 12 retail corners in Pepe Jeans stores across the country.

The Pepe Jeans group, based in Barcelona, closed the 2017 financial year with losses of over €13 million. In the same year, it grew by less than 1%, generating a revenue of €531 million.
