The group has been enlisted to star in a campaign for International Women’s Day, presenting a collection that has been both designed and manufactured by all-female teams

Captured by British photographer and filmmaker Holly-Marie Cato, the campaign shares stories of remarkable women, including freeride world champion Marion Haerty, London-based adventurer Sofia Jin and stunt actress Marie Mouroum.

Every woman in the group has challenged the status quo and pushed the boundaries for women, be it music, art, business or sport, The North Face said.

The collection, spanning T-shirts and tote bags, was made at an all-female factory in Jordan. More than 500 women work at the Jerash Garment Factory, which was founded by Oryana Awaisheh to provide more opportunities for women and their families.

Commenting on the campaign, Tina Rolen, VP of marketing at The North Face, said: “The image of those women is one I think every woman today can draw power from. The North Face has been at the forefront of empowering and supporting women to achieve the unthinkable for over half a century and we’re excited to once again support the remarkable achievements and hard work shown by women such as Oryana.”

Awaisheh added: “The world contains more skilled, talented and ambitious women than ever and I’m incredibly proud to be able to partner with The North Face to showcase the work of just a small number of these amazing women.”
