The industry alumni, known for her eponymous fashion label, first announced her entry into the world of skincare earlier this year, as part of the unveiling of ‘Normakamalife: The Skinline'. Kamali said the beauty line will focus on her “three pillars" of a healthy lifestyle --sleep, diet and exercise. The designer first made the venture known on Instagram earlier this month.

Now, representatives have announced that the Skinline range has exclusively launched in the UK, prior to the U.S. The skincare products will be carried exclusively at Selfridges in London and Manchester for the first 6 months of their UK debut, and will also be available on Norma Kamali’s website.

Skinline products can be used by both men and women, and include items like a cleanser, an exfoliator, a color enhancer and a moisturizer. Products feature natural, well-known ingredients like charcoal, ground olive pits and fermented sugar beets, and are free of parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances and preservatives. According to the designer's website, the average price is $40 for a 'travel-ready' kit of the products, and for individual six-ounce tubes.

The launch marks the latest in apparel-world heavy-hitters traversing into beauty, including skincare launches from Lululemon and WhoWhatWear’s co-founder, Katherine Power.
