Noomi Rapace and Miguel take center stage in Christmas celebrations at Selfridges

Selfridges has called on actress Noomi Rapace and musician Miguel for its dedicated end-of-year celebrations campaign, "Future Fantasy." The duo invited a wide range of celebrities from the worlds of fashion, music, cinema and design to take part in extravagantly futuristic parties, which are a far cry from traditional festivities.





End-of-year celebrations will be anything but bland at Selfridges this year, as evidenced by the retailer's latest Christmas campaign which shows two distinct parties: a highly colorful and eccentric dinner and a wild dance party with guests caught in the thrall of avant-garde music.

To take center stage in the new campaign entitled "Future Fantasy - A Christmas for Modern Times," Selfridges brought in two stylish hosts, actress Noomi Rapace and singer Miguel. The events they organized were recorded in a short film by Nabil Elderkin that offers a glimpse of Christmas entertainment, which is more futuristic than ever.

The clothing and accessories proposed by the famous department store chain are presented by a myriad of celebrities. Bedecked in finery by Calvin Klein, Valentino, Acne Studios, Paco Rabanne, Gucci, and Ermenegildo Zegna, and joining in the fun with Noomi Rapace and Miguel, are such luminaries as Dior artistic director Kim Jones, actress Magdalena Sverlander, and models Peter Dupont, Adesuwa Aighewi, Amalia Vairelli and Hidetatsu Takeuchi.

Artist Daniel Arsham also features in this show of talent. Not only does he appear in the campaign, but he has also provided Selfridges with an installation. "The House by Daniel Arsham," which imagines a family home in the future, is on show in Selfridges' London store.
