NJAL launches e-commerce for 300 Arabic designers
In partnership with Dubai Design District, d3, Not Just a Label has launched e-commerce sales for 300 designers from the Middle East and North Africa.
The move is a further testament of NJAL’s commitment to spotlighting emerging designers from across the world. It also extends the platform’s collaboration with d3, which is the primary destination for creative talent in the UAE.
NJAL and d3 first announced a collaboration in April 2016 to help drive innovation and support creative minds across the region and internationally.
By launching designers from the MENA region on its e-commerce website, Not Just A Label aims to give emerging talent a digital place to conduct business. According to the network, without e-commerce and editorial support, these brands can hardly compete against established European and American businesses that have entered their region.
The 300 designers join 21,000 other contemporary designers that NJAL represents. The platform operates both a digital and an e-commerce business for its designers and partners, and in parallel offers consulting services for leading brands and design institutions.
Since its launch in 2008, the company has been devoted to facilitating growth in the fashion industry.
