May 19 - Nike Inc named new leaders for the Converse, Umbro and Hurley brands on Thursday as Jim Allaker, the chief executive and president of the Umbro brand, plans to retire after 23 years at Nike.

Michael Spillane, the CEO of Converse, will become CEO and president of Umbro. Jim Calhoun, currently CEO of Hurley, will become CEO and president of Converse. Nike did not say when the changes will take effect.

Roger Wyett, the president of affiliates at Nike, will serve as interim CEO of Hurley as Nike moves to name a successor at the surf brand.

Spillane and Calhoun will continue to report to Wyett.

Wyett had been head of Hurley until February, when he took over as president of affiliates as Eunan McLaughlin retired.

The affiliates business also includes the Cole Haan brand.
