The French fashion house had already made known its intention to show its 2020 pre-fall collection in Miami on December 3 -- now we know the exact address.

Kim Jones, Dior Men creative director

Dior Men creative director Kim Jones has set his heart on the new Rubell Museum, which is destined to open to the public on the following day, reports Women's Wear Daily.

Located in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami since 1993, the Rubell Family Collection is moving to a bigger space in Allapattah, less than a mile from its original home. Christened the Rubell Museum, the new space will launch its first ever exhibition on December 4, on the eve of the opening of this year's Art Basel Miami Beach. More than 300 works by 100 artists including Jeff Koons, Anselm Kiefer, and Yayoi Kusama will be on display.

In the run-up to this official inauguration, the Dior pre-fall men's collection runway show will be held in the grounds of the new Rubell. Given his close links with the art world, the least that can be said is the choice of venue was not an arbitrary one for Kim Jones, especially when one considers his recent collaborations with Kaws and Raymond Pettibon.

It remains to be seen what the Dior creative director is planning, no doubt his latest collection will be inspired by art, although it is too early to say what form this inspiration may take.
