New events venue to open at Westfield London

Published
Feb 6, 2019

A grade II-listed building within Westfield London’s expansion will be transformed into a 34,000-square-foot event venue to host high-profile live music events, brand experiences and product launches.

The project is a partnership between Westfield owner Unibail-Rodamco- Westfield and Broadwick Venues that is scheduled to open at the end of this year.

The building was originally built as an electricity generating station for the London Underground, and was most recently used as a bus garage for TFL’s White City bus station.

In addition to offering space for brands to host retail experiences, Exhibition London will provide a new space for exhibitions, conferences, award ceremonies and community events, Broadwick said.

Exhibition London will further boost the shopping centre’s offering following the opening of a £600m expansion last year.

Work on the scheme is set to start this month.
