Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter ink strategic partnership with Watches & Wonders
A new strategic partnership between Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter and luxury watch fair Watches & Wonders will bring some of the industry’s most revered high-end watch brands into the spotlight.
Further expanding Watches & Wonders’ digital presence following the launch of its platform in April 2020, the agreement will see the watch exhibition brought to life digitally via a multitude of touch points.
Mr Porter and Net-A-Porter will feature Watches & Wonders via editorial content, curated edits, virtual events and exclusive appointment-based activities for EIPs (those high-spending shoppers who have been awarded Extremely Important Person status).
The partnership also includes new brand launches, interactive Instagram Live conversations hosted by Net-A-Porter’s Sarah Bailey and Mr Porter’s Chris Hall, and new shopping filters.
“By teaming up with the world’s premier watch showcase, we want to provide an international platform for the most exceptional timepieces, supporting an environment where their stories – and those of their iconic makers – can come alive and be accessed by watch lovers across the globe,” said Alison Loehnis, president of Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter.
The year-long campaign builds on the Watches & Wonders digital platform that launched on Net-A-Porter’s Tmall flagship store in April.
