Net-a-Porter launches new magazine The Edit

Net-a-Porter has a new outlet for its editorial content. The online retailer has launched The Edit, a weekly magazine that caters for "women with great style and great stories" according to the magazine editor, Lucy Yeomans, formerly at British Harper's Bazaar.

The first edition of the magazine with Natalia Vodianova


This is the first step in the development of the sites editorial strategy. Net-a-Porter is expecting to release a print version of the magazine in the autumn. In the meantime, a teaser edition called Special Collection, translated from English to French, German and Chinese can be found in all orders made from the site.

The lead the project, the group has created a new division, Net-a-Porter Media, lead by Tess Macleod Smith, Vice President of Media and Publications. A leader in online luxury sales, Net-a-Porter has a global audience of 8.3 million.
