N Brown appoints chief brand officer
Nelson will join N Brown on Monday 3 June and will report directly into CEO Steve Johnson.
He was most recently chief customer officer at fast-fashion retailer Missguided, and has significant experience across the consumer and retail sectors including with P&G and Shop Direct Group.
N Brown said the new chief brand officer will work to ensure its brands better resonate with customers. It follows a 0.8% fall in group revenues in the year ended 2 March 2019, driven by 5.6% decline in product revenue.
As a result, N Brown is focusing on creating better products by using high-tech tools to deliver fit improvements and investing in design and sourcing. The company will also leverage data to enhance personalisation and offer the right products for every customer.
