Mulberry to open concept store in Glasgow

Published
Nov 6, 2018

Mulberry is relocating its store on Ingram Street in Glasgow to open a larger concept store, similar to its new London flagship, on the same street.

The brand's new store on Regent Street opened in September - Mulberry

Property company Savills announced that Mulberry will be moving out of its existing 2,175-square-foot store in Glasgow and into a 2,700-square-foot space at Unit Three 197-207 Ingram Street.

The relocation is part of ongoing efforts to reenergize the luxury goods brand led by creative director Johnny Coca, who joined the business in 2015. In addition to reworking the Mulberry logo, and introducing ready-to-wear, the Spanish designer has recently unveiled a fresh store design concept with interior designer Faye Toogood.

Elements of this new concept, presented in the brand’s recently opened flagship store on London’s Regent Street, are likely to also appear in the Glasgow store.

Designed to feel like an immersive experience, Mulberry’s Regent Street features purple columns, lots of colour and rich textures. A host of omnichannel services, including mobile payment points, click & collect and two-hour same-day delivery across Central London are some of the tech features it offers to serve today’s connected consumers.
