The site will be available to customers in over 170 countries and feature more than 25 brands in the performance gear section. Labels new to Mr. Porter are Arc’teryx, APL, Condor, Newton, 2XU, Castelli, Fizik, Brooks England, Boast, RLX, TriggerPoint, Suunto, Oakley, Matuse and Arena.

"We are excited to launch Mr. Porter Sport, a dedicated area within mrporter.com that is focused on sport, performance and style," says Mr. Toby Bateman, Buying Director, mrporter.com. "In keeping with our ethos of editing only the best brands within each category, we have chosen our sport brands based primarily on their technical performance properties, but also for their style."

Mr. Porter has also announced the return of Jeremy Langmead, who was Editor-in-Chief when the site launched in 2011. He has now been named Brand and Content Director and says: "I'm thrilled to be returning home to Mr. Porter. A year away was far too long."

As the site expands in the US, it has also appointed John Brodie Editorial Director, US.
