Only months after opening its first global flagship store in London’s Westfield Stratford, nail polish and make-up brand Models Own has signed a new deal to open a 1,667 sq ft store at Trinity Leeds in early spring.

Introducing ‘Boxshop’, its branded inline store concept, the new shop will be a ‘beauty playground’, stocking all 650 of the brand’s own lines of products.

It will be the second inline store for the UK brand, which was acquired by Saudi-based retail conglomerate Fawaz Alhokair & Co in 2014. Models Own was created in 2008 and has become one of Europe’s fastest growing cosmetic brands with its attention-grabbing ‘Bottleshops’ retail concepts, shaped like a giant nail polish bottle appearing in a number of malls.

The Boxshop at Trinity Leeds will be located on the Commercial Street section between New Look and Next. The space will include the nation’s first ‘Play Table’ outside of London, featuring a central area where customers can experiment with products and styles, as well as watch live makeup tutorials.

Anchored by Marks & Spencer, Next, H&M, Primark, Boots and Topshop/Topman, Trinity Leeds is a leading shopping and leisure destination in the heart of the city. It houses brands such as Adidas, Coast, Charles Tyrwhitt, Urban Outfitters, Superdry and Warehouse.
