The Manchester-based online brand saw sales double during the sales event, which kicks off the festive season for many companies in the retail sector.

Sales rose to nearly £0.5m across the four-day period from £0.25m a year earlier, boosted by a 30% off offer on all styles on the site, according to Manchester Evening News.

Brand owner Ash Siddique saids: “As a brand, we pride ourselves on being open and honest with our customers – none of our prices were inflated prior to our offers launching, which unfortunately has been identified as having been the case with some brands across this promotional period.

“Our customers appreciated that and responded by shopping some of our best ever deals – we noted a 50 percent uplift on sales and boasted record turnover for the four days, despite being just a few days short of payday.”

The fashion e-tailer is bucking the retail gloom, having recently announced record sales for the first half of 2018. Founded in 2015 by brothers Ash and Ish Siddique, the brand has quickly gain traction for its trend-led styles, affordable prices and student discounts.
