Chairman Ian Gray and chief digital officer Rafaele Petruzzo have stepped in, the latter was formerly CDO at Arcadia group.

Petruzzo joined the firm back in 2019 in a newly-created role. He was was previously chief transformation officer at digital payments firm Nets Group, as well as chief digital and technology officer at Homeserve, group payments strategy director at Tesco and chief digital officer at Barclays.

Gray was previously chief executive of football club Tottenham Hotspur, chairman of organic veg business Abel & Cole and a non-executive director of Furniture Village.

Last week, in announcing Nitin Passi’s intention to step down, he said that “Missguided has made substantial operational progress since receiving new investment at the end of 2021, placing us on a sounder footing in a very short space of time. That work means we’re now in a position to accelerate plans to explore strategic options for the business”.
