Milano Moda Donna is mustering around its big names. From the September 2019 edition, the Milan Fashion Week calendar will feature a more balanced sequence of shows, to make each day a memorable fashion occasion.

The first to take up the gauntlet will be Italian luxury heavyweights Prada and Gucci. Prada will open the Milan Fashion Week Women on the afternoon of Wednesday September 18, while the thriving luxury label owned by French group Kering will stage the event's last show on Sunday September 22, also in the afternoon.

Two top Italian labels will also be at the forefront of Milano Moda Donna’s 2020 edition: Gucci will open proceedings with a show on Wednesday February 19, while Giorgio Armani will take to the runway last, on Sunday February 23.

The new-look calendar was devised after a working group on Milan Fashion Week was convened by CNMI, the Italian Fashion Chamber, attended also by Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Max Mara, Marni, Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace.
