Michel Herbelin launches US e-commerce website

Following a pop-up in New York’s SoHo at the beginning of the month, French haute horlogerie brand Michel Herbelin has launched its US e-commerce platform, bringing its range of luxury watches to American consumers.

The brand’s watches feature exclusively Swiss movements, and the models available on the brand’s new US website range in price from $345 to $2,550.
 
Models on offer include the Newport, a men’s watch inspired by the portholes of transatlantic ships; the Antarès, a women’s timepiece with a changeable strap; the Inspiration and the Trophy.

Michel Herbelin’s four-day NYC pop-up celebrating the platform’s launch ran from November 8 through 11, and introduced consumers to the brand’s watch offering, while Maxime and Mathieu Herbelin, grandsons of the family business’ founder, were in attendance to welcome journalists, influencers and locals.
 
Founded in 1947 in Charquemont on the French-Swiss border, Michel Herbelin currently operates 3,000 retail locations in 50 countries around the world. The company ensures complete control over its production process by operating a design studio in the workshops where its watches are assembled.
 
The brand’s annual production reached 85,000 watches in 2017.
