Mexican designers show at pop-up store in London

Published
Sep 18, 2015

Having conquered Paris, the pop-up store Di.me by ProMéxico landed in London this week to show the best of Mexico’s fashion and industrial design.

Di.me, short for Diseño Mexico (Mexican Design) will launch the pop-up store at Tank Magazine's head office - Embamex

In collaboration with the prestigious fashion magazine Tank Magazine, Di.me has been showing the Spring/Summer 2016 collections of 15 Mexican designers, as well as the work of five industrial designers all week.

The fashion lines of Ricardo Seco, Boks & Baum, Sabido & Basteris, Mexicouture, Jose Sánchez, Julia y Renata, Carla Fernández, Mancandy, East Club, Dalia Pascal, Chabe, Pink Magnolia, Laddu and Oriana Rodríguez are all displayed along with industrial designs by Ariel Rojo, Gala Fernández, Liliana Ovalle, WHO & CO and Gildo Medina.

The pop-up store’s main goal is to raise Mexico’s brand to an international standard, as well as promoting this country’s creative talent to help them generate opportunities for export.

The exhibition is part of the celebration of "Dual Year" between Mexico and the United Kingdom, which seeks to promote better understanding between the societies of both countries.
