Men’s accessories area to return to Top Drawer in September

Following its successful launch in January, Top Drawer is giving its men’s fashion accessories section a more prominent location at the upcoming September show.

The return of the show’s "Mr." concept capitalises on the thriving menswear market, which grew by 3.5% in 2017 and is expected to rise a further 11% by 2020, according to market research firm Mintel.

“The growing demand for men’s-focused products is undeniable,” said Alejandra Campos, who runs the leading lifestyle show.

“It was a thrill to see the sector be so well-received in January, and we look forward to presenting an even more enhanced edition of it in its new central location in September.”

Presenting a selection of accessories, grooming and design-led lifestyle products for the modern man, the area will play host to brands including Anchor & Crew, Arne Jacobsen, Bunks Swimwear, Doughnut Bags, Katie Mullally and Norse Lifestyle.

It was the calibre of the line-up, coupled with the area’s overall presentation, that attracted the finest buyers last season, according to Oscar Menzel from Netherlands-based leather goods brand Secrid.

In addition to Mr., Top Drawer will provide a curated men’s trail to help guide buyers through a men’s-focused edit of products and key exhibitors. This will highlight brands across a variety of products categories, offering an insight into other areas of interest such as wellbeing products, stationery and home interiors.

Organised by Clarion Events, the upcoming edition of Top Drawer will take place at Olympia London on 8-10 September.
