Italian label Max&Co. is launching its first childrenswear line, designed for girls aged 4-16, in partnership with Brave Kid. The first capsule collection, the result of a five-year design and distribution license deal signed with the OTB-owned company, will première for the Spring/Summer 2024. The partnership between Brave Kid and the womenswear label owned by the Max Mara Group will continue with the Fall/Winter 2024 season and subsequent collections.

Max&Co.’s new childrenswear line for girls

Brave Kid will be in charge of the line's wholesale distribution. The collection will be available at the company’s Milanese showroom from next July. In November 2023, the collection will be on sale at Max&Co.’s Milan flagship store, and on the e-shops of both Max&Co. and Brave Kid.

Bold colours will be the new line’s distinguishing trait, and the collection will include iconic children's items featuring the aesthetics of Max&Co.'s adult collections. The looks will range from daily essentials to more formal ones.

“It is important to be able to tap the brand’s style and DNA also for a girls’ collection, reinforcing the concept of lightness and research which we apply to style, design and creating clothes that are able to incorporate those values of quality, creativity and versatility that have always been our guidelines throughout our history,” said Maria Giulia Prezioso Maramotti, Max&Co.’s global omni-channel director and global brand ambassador for Max Mara.

Max&Co., a label owned by the Max Mara Group, an established name in womenswear for the last 40 years, is distributed online and via over 400 stores worldwide.

“We are proud that a brand with a strong DNA like Max & Co. has chosen Brave Kid’s experience and know-how to enter this market with its first girls’ line,” said Germano Ferraro, CEO of Brave Kid.

Brave Kid is part of Renzo Rosso's OTB group and has been active in childrenswear for over 30 years. The company designs and distributes the junior lines of OTB’s leading labels, like Diesel, MM6 Maison Margiela and Marni, and also operates licenses for Dsquared2, N°21 and Myar.
