Italian fashion designer Marco de Vincenzo has chosen Pitti Immagine Uomo, taking place June 11- 14 in Florence, to launch his first off-the-rack menswear collection. He will be organizing his show as a guest of the "Pitti Italics Special Event."

The next Pitti Immagine Uomo is set to be a blockbuster edition. First Clare Waight Keller, artistic director at Givenchy, then Salvatore Ferragamo and MSGM, now it's the turn of Marco de Vincenzo to join the exclusive group as a special guest at the event.

The Italian designer, artistic director and founder of the eponymous brand launched exactly ten years ago will unveil his first menswear collection exclusively for the spring-summer 2020 season at a show this June 12.

"In 2016 I was invited by Pitti as a guest designer for women's ready-to-wear. The energy of that event was so incredible that I had promised myself I would return for an important debut. My first menswear collection could only be presented in a similar context, where the joy of doing this job is felt in every corner of the city," said Marco de Vincenzo in a press release.

In addition to heading his own luxury ready-to-wear brand, Marco de Vincenzo is also head of accessories at the Fendi fashion house.
