Marc Jacobs Beauty announces Lila Moss as the brand’s new face for 2019
Marc Jacobs Beauty has announced Kate Moss’s daughter Lila Moss as the brand’s new face for 2019. Moss will star in the brand’s upcoming advertising campaign, directed by Katie Grand.
The campaign will launch in 2019 alongside the brand’s spring collection that will debut in stores next February.
The first official teaser for the campaign has been released as a portrait of Moss with makeup by Diane Kendal, hair by Guido Palau, nails by Jin Soon Choi, and creative direction by the stylist Katie Grand.
“It is with great pride and a full heart that I share this first image from our shoot with the incredible Lila Grace in her first ever beauty campaign for Marc Jacobs beauty,” said Jacobs in a press release.
“Lila's beauty, composure, patience and kindness made this project even more special than I could have imagined. With each look we photographed, she got into each character effortlessly and gracefully."
Moss’ shoot for the brand, which took place in July, will make its UK debut at the luxury department store Harvey Nichols with a dedicated campaign in 2019. Harvey Nichols is the UK and Ireland exclusive retail partner.
With this campaign, Lila Moss joins Marc Jacobs Beauty’s long list of brand faces that includes Winona Ryder, Kaia Gerber, Adwoa Aboah, and Jessica Lange among others.
Marc Jacobs Beauty’s spring collection will retail from Sephora stores worldwide, as well through an array of multi-brand retailers and the brand’s own e-commerce store.
