Management changes at Net-a-Porter

One month after its stock market flotation, Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP), the online retail sales group created from the merger of Italian fashion retailer Yoox and Net-a-Porter, is undergoing some major structural changes in terms of its management team.

Following the departure of Net-a-Porter Founder and President, Natalie Massenet, who was the first to leave in September, former CEO Mark Sebba stepped down from the Board of Directors on 30 September, one month before the finalisation of the merger.

Now, two other key posts have been abandoned and filled, notably Managing Director of Mr Porter and President of The Outnet, the Net-a Porter Group’s luxury off-price ecommerce site. For the former, Ian Tansley has been replaced by Toby Bateman, promoted from his role as Buying Director since 2010, when he first joined the company.

For the latter, Stephanie Phair has been replaced by Shira Suveyke, Vice President, Global Buying Director at The Outnet, and Andres Sosa, Global Sales & Marketing Director, said YNAP in its press release.

Another promotion includes Naomi Hewitt, who was named Director of People and Organisation, following her role as Human Resources Director at NaP since 2003.

Paul Brennan has taken on the role of Deputy Director of post-merger integration and operational excellence. Previously he was the head of the NaP's group merchandising and retail.

Finally, Adrian Evans, Director of Strategy has been promoted to Commercial Director, while Lea Cranfield, Head of Merchandising at Mr Porter, has become Merchandising Director for Net-a-Porter.com and Mr Porter.com.
