Man/ Woman trade show to join Première Classe at the Tuileries garden in Paris

The upcoming simultaneous trade shows in Paris promise an eclectic mix. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the trade show schedule for the autumn season had to be completely reshuffled due to the constraints and uncertainties it caused. For the fashion and accessories markets, the upcoming showcase from October 2 to 4 at the Tuileries garden in Paris will offer a diverse selection of products and brands.

Following Silmo, Man/Woman has announced it will take place at the Tuileries in Paris - Premiere Classe

As with every edition of Paris Fashion Week, trade show Première Classe will run at the Palais du Louvre extension, but this season it will not be alone. On September 9, WSN Developpement, organiser and founder of independent trade show Man/ Woman, announced that one of the flagship meetings for creative and contemporary brands will take place in one of the three tents set up in the Tuileries gardens.

“The future of independent players, brands, and retailers alike is the main focus for this end-of-year,” said Antoine Floch, who founded trade show Man in Paris with Olivier Migda in 2012. “It is our responsibility to maintain physical meeting opportunities to present the collections of all of those who have worked alongside us for over eight years.” The trade show brings together a community of several hundred buyers and international brands at each men’s and women’s fashion week at the Place Vendôme.

Under the tents of the Tuileries garden, the occasion will feature offerings from trade shows Who's Next, Première Classe, and Impact, as well as optics and eyewear trade show Silmo and Man/ Woman. WSN and Man/ Woman passes will allow visitors to discover the different worlds at the event which is also an opportunity for brands to get in touch with potential new customers.

“The in-depth discussions on the digitisation of fashion weeks, the function of trade shows, and the fashion calendar have created strong links between numerous organisers over the past few months, to the point of envisioning joining forces should the exceptional circumstances demand it,” said WSN’s managing director Frédéric Maus. “Today, you have to know how to be agile to support brands, initiate new encounters, and give them the necessary energy to construct their 2021. This unique situation promises a visitor experience tailored to buyers and it is a real pleasure to welcome Antoine & Olivier to our team.”

The infrastructure put in place by the organisers makes it possible to meet necessary health and safety regulations designed to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The event, which will take place at the end of Paris Fashion Week, will thus be able to welcome both French and international brands and buyers.
