Man City's Phil Foden is new Cernucci face
Currently competing for major honours on three fronts in Europe and in England, fashion jeweller Cernucci has picked just the right time to announce Manchester City and England striker Phil Foden as its latest brand ambassador.
“Widely regarded as one of England’s most gifted players, this is a special moment for football and jewellery,” Cernucci said in announcing its tie-up with the young star.
Representing a space for creating signature urban jewellery and streetwear for the next generation, the 22-year-old Premiership footballer was chosen as identifying with its core market.
“Foden & Cernucci represent a similar story making the collaboration a natural fit on both parts. From simple beginnings to mega milestones, both communities resonate with each other and aim to inspire”, it said.
“Paired with Foden’s aspirational style makes for an exciting collaboration and definitely one to watch”, it added.
Other high-profile Cernucci collaborations include Leicester City footballer James Maddison and British rapper and record producer Knucks, while also “fostering a fanbase of football supporters who take the ostentatious way of repping their respective teams by adorning specially bejewelled pendants of club crests”.
The jewellery market has been a buoyant one post-pandemic and we’ve hard plenty of strong sale reports as well as reporting on a number of key store openings.
