Maison Michel is bringing creativity and craftsmanship to the Chinese New Year with an exceptional capsule collection focused on the highly symbolic color red.
The Chinese New Year creations will be available from January 25, exclusively from Maison Michel stores in London and Paris.

Many big fashion names have taken to producing special collections in honor of the Chinese New Year. Maison Michel, which is renowned for its remarkable hats, has joined this trend with with a tribute to the Year of the Pig in the form of a four-piece capsule.

Priscilla Royer, Maison Michel's artistic director, has chosen to reinterpret two iconic pieces by the brand, the New Abby cap and the Virginie fedora. For the occasion, the New Abby will be produced in red cashmere, and the Virginie will be made of red rabbit fur felt.

The mini-capsule will also feature a red satin Alice band, and an aged ruthenium hair clip. All of these items will be decorated with a Chinese knot intended to bring the wearer luck, strength and happiness, as Maison Michel explains in its press release.

The capsule will be available from January 25, and prices will range from 130 euros for the hair clip to 650 euros for the fedora.
