Nov 10, 2018
On November 14, the Franco Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné will launch a new line called “Acide Maison Kitsuné” across its flagship stores, shop-in-shops, and online.

Maison Kitsuné took to Instagram to announce its upcoming line, “Acide Maison Kitsuné”. The brand posted a short animated video that featured the line’s mascot, an abstract painted fox created by the New York-based artist and illustrator, Christina Zimpel. The video was accompanied by an Acid House style soundtrack and saw illustration become deconstructed. Following this, the brand posted another teaser with a model’s face. The only clothing that could be seen was a white polo-neck and black and white polka dot top.
Acide Maison Kitsuné will be the brand’s third special collection following on from “Parisien”, a seasonal collection inspired by the Parisian wardrobe. Acide Maison Kitsuné has a genderless and artistic worldview and featured Zimpel’s fox as its logo.
The debut collection of the new line will feature patched t-shirts priced at JPY 14,000 ($123), embroidered sweaters (JPY 30,000), polka dot cardigans (JPY 45,000), and an iPhone case (JPY 5,000 excluding tax) among other items.
Maison Kitsuné has also just launched a footwear collaboration with Brandblack.
The collaborative collection features a range of sportswear sneakers and sandals that come in muted but contrasting colours and bear both the Brandblack logo and signature Maison Kitsuné fox.
