MAC Cosmetics signs up for Liverpool One store, Swarovski relocates
The beauty powerhouse, owned by Estée Lauder, has taken a 2,654 sq ft store at 104 Paradise Street, which is scheduled to open on 10 April. It will stock the brand’s range of cruelty-free make-up, skincare, brushes and accessories.
MAC is not the only change at Liverpool One. Jewellery and accessories retailer Swarovski is moving to a new space at 46/47 South John Street after seeing successful trading at the destination.
The new Swarovski store will neighbour Victoria’s Secret, Zara and & Other Stories, and showcase its premium jewellery, watches, accessories and decorative collections.
Alison Clegg, director of asset management at Grosvenor Europe, commented on the openings: “Liverpool One’s retail strategy is driven by an in-depth knowledge of our visitors, their preferences, and spending trends. The introduction of MAC Cosmetics is in direct response to this, with an identified demand for the international beauty brands only growing.
“As well as bringing in new brands, it is equally important that we ensure tenants are in the most effective unit formats. Since launching, Swarovski has been a top-performing brand at Liverpool One, and we’re sure the retailer’s new home on South John Street will only enhance this success.”
