Lush has relocated and expanded its presence at Centre: MK to open an experience-led store after seeing group customer interest.

The new 2,793 sq ft store has opened at 58-60 Midsummer Arcade this week, ensuring it benefits from the shopping centre’s significant Christmas trading period, during which footfall is anticipated to exceed seven million visits.

The store has been designed by an in-house team, with a special layout and merchandising to encourage customers to interact with products. Members of the Lush team are also on-hand to provide expert knowledge and demonstrations to customers, further enhancing the experience.

Hannah Downs, shop manager for Lush at Centre:mk, said: “Our customers have been asking for a bigger shop for many years - this has been a long time coming!"

Ed Sellick, asset manager for Hermes Investment Management, joint owners of centre:mk with AustralianSuper, commented: “Consumers are increasingly making more informed choices about where they shop and the brands they engage with.

“We are reflecting that in how we evolve centre:mk’s offer, which is why Lush is such a key addition."

The Centre:MK shop is one of several new doors Lush has opened in the past few months, following the launch of the brand’s largest store in Birmingham and new concept stores in Germany, Italy and Tokyo.
