It will be Gant’s first ever store in East London, located in the 100 Liverpool Street scheme designed by Hopkins Architects.

Watches of Switzerland has also chosen the building to open an East London flagship store, which will be used to host customer and brand events supporting the retailer’s ambition to become the leading watch retailer in the UK.

100 Liverpool Street is part of the Broadgate neighbourhood, which is undergoing a transformation led by British Land to deliver 4.9 million sq ft of new and redefined workplaces, retail and restaurants.

The development is close to Liverpool Street station, and will benefit from access to Crossrail when the route fully opens.

Gant and Watches of Switzerland will be joined in 100 Liverpool Street by skincare brands Kiehl’s, Neom and The Body Shop.

Commenting on the opening, Peter Lay, COO of Gant in Northern Europe, said: “Gant are proud to be opening at Broadgate which will provide an inspiring new environment to shop, dine, or just go about your daily travel.”

David Lockyer, head of Broadgate, British Land added: “We’ve had fantastic leasing success at Broadgate, helping us create a vibrant place for people to work and visit. These new customers, our upcoming developments and our plans for a park at Exchange Square will help us continue to evolve Broadgate into a world-class mixed-use destination.”
