London Collections: Men clashes with Pitti Uomo yet again

The next edition of London Collections: Men, the men’s fashion week event in London launched three seasons ago, will once again coincide with the Italian trade show Pitti Uomo. The British Fashion Council event will take place between 16 and 18 June, while Pitti Uomo starts in Florence on the 18 June and finishes on the 21.

It seems that the British Fashion Council has made the decision take on the competition, i.e. the Italian fashion industry, face-on. Last season, the organisers of the Florence based show spoke openly against the British initiative but this fact has not seemed to faze the authorities on the other side of the Channel…
